Pokémon being as popular as it is, characters of the series, as well as the names of Pokémon, can and do differ drastically between regions. However, this wikia strives to stay as true to the original manga as possible, and therefore use Japanese for character names, as well as Pokémon names. English names will be used as redirects for ease of access.
