Lavender Town (シオンタウン; Shion Town) is a town in northeastern Kanto.

Mr. Fuji's house
Lavender Town is a small town in the northeastern part of Kanto, and home to the Pokémon Tower, where deceased Pokémon are laid to rest. Red arrives in Lavender Town in the rain, and, wishing to seek shelter, he asks various townspeople for help, but is ignored each time. After meeting Mr. Fuji, the old man explains that the sudden appearance of ghosts has made the townspeople suspicious of one another and of strangers, as well. After both Red and Green battle and defeat Koga, the ghosts disappear, and Lavender Town returns to its former state.
